Some Folks Do For Guitar In A
Some Folks Do, guitar vocal lead sheet with tab in A
The Key Of A
The key of A
The tab lead sheet for "Some Folks Do" in the key of A is pictured below. The key of A
has two sharps. They are f sharp, c sharp and g sharp. As they applies to every f, c and
g in the key, they are in the key signature between the treble clef sign and the time
signature, on the f line, the  c space and g space above the staff. Notice how the melody
notes are lower on the staff. A tenor would be able to easily sing to the exact pitch. A
baritone should be able to sing these notes to the exact pitch. It does extend to the top of
the baritone range and so is a good song to practice singing to the top of that range.
Listen to the sound sample. Play the notes on your guitar. Sing along and check your
voice range. If you don't have to drop an octave to sing the song in the key of C than you
have a good baritone range. One of the reasons that you want to be able to play in
different keys is to be able to sing a song in a range that fits your voice.
Bass Chord IN A
The I and V7 chords that you need to back up "Some Folks Do" in the key of A are
pictured below. I've included the IV chord, D, that you would need to play a three chord
song in this key but all you need for this song is the I and V7. Try playing accompaniment
for the melody sound sample and/or your singing of the song.  The melody should be
easy for a tenor to sing to pitch. It is at the top of the baritone range but a baritone
should be able to sing to pitch.
